He couldn't get the tune out of his head. "Spider Mine, Spider Mine, Friendly Neighborhood Spider Mine..." Spider Mines: Providing a great tactical advantage over stationary mines, Spider Mines track targets over and through all terrain. Creating these small mines was quite simple. The mine body is created from a plastic bead ~1/4" in diameter (~.6 cm). The legs are created from three lengths of floral wire. Two lengths act only as legs, and the other acts both as legs and antennae 1. Fold the three lengths of wire in half. Place them side-by side and twist them together. 2.Fold down two of the three loops, and cut the third loop in the middle to form the antennae. 3.The wire leg-ature is placed into the bead. Use hot glue or putty to attach the legs to the bead.
The spider mine can now be attached to a base, painted, and decorated in a the normal manner. |
